What exactly is a "freeze-out," and can you fix it?
A "freeze-out" occurs when extreme cold causes internal components of your heating system (like a boiler) to freeze, halting operation entirely. This is common during sudden cold snaps or power outages. Yes, we can fix it! Our 24/7 emergency team arrives to safely thaw the frozen heating components, inspect for damage, and restore your heat. Note: If your home's water pipes have burst due to the cold, you may also need a plumber, but we will get your heat source back online first.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
It depends on the age of your system, the cost of the repair, and its overall efficiency. If your unit is over 15 years old, requires frequent fixes, or is driving up your energy bills, a replacement is often the smarter long-term investment. During a service call, Ari will inspect your system, explain the pros and cons of repairing versus replacing, and give you an honest, no-pressure recommendation.
Why is annual maintenance important if my system seems fine?
Just like a car, your heating and cooling system needs regular check-ups to run safely and efficiently. Our annual maintenance includes deep cleaning of burners, safety inspections of heat exchangers (to prevent carbon monoxide risks), and system tuning. Skipping this can lead to unexpected breakdowns in the dead of winter, higher energy costs, and a shorter lifespan for your equipment. Think of it as essential insurance for your home's comfort.
Do you install heat pumps, and are they good for our area?

How do I know if a heat pump is right for my home?
Heat pumps are incredibly efficient, but the right choice depends on your home's insulation, size, and current ductwork. Since we offer mini-splits (which don't require ducts)as well as a central heat pump system, we can evaluate your specific needs.
